Updates!

New Video

Xfm live session! plus what we’ve been up to!

We haven’t posted a blog on here in way too long! So here’s an update!  This week we went to Capitol towers in London to do a live session for Xfm which will be broadcast later this year!  We played four songs live and were totally blown away by how good they sounded so can’t wait to let peeps know when they’ll be broadcast!

In other news we’ve now released our Cum EP.  So far we’ve had a really great response and the record received a 4/5 rating in Artrocker and lead to us being picked in Artrocker’s tips for 2010.  Also, keep an eye out for next months edition of Artrocker where we’ve been interviewed and featured!

Radio has also been really fruitful for us of late, that wonderful man John Kennedy at Xfm has played our song Glue a couple of times, plus our songs Man On Side and Laboto.  Artrocker and NME radio have played Glue.  BBC Radio Devon invited us in to do a live session in which we played Glue and Religion vrs LSD, and, finally, Exeter’s Phonic FM have aired a live interview and played our songs Glue and Man On Side.

In promotion for our release we enlisted the help of our chum Carl Shanahan to direct our Glue video which can now be seen on our page or youtube.  The video received coverage on Artrocker TV.

In the last six months we have completed two tours of the UK and played many sporadic gigs across the UK this has lead to us playing dates in London, Brighton, Glasgow, Manchester, Edinburgh, Sheffield, Bristol, Aberdeen, Hull, Southampton, Norwich, Dundee, Leamington Spa, Fife, Exeter, Plymouth, etc…

We’re currently in the process of booking a full UK tour in April and have a number of other exciting live gig action things being prepared thereafter!  We’ll also be recording, releasing and doing more fun things like making music videos in the coming months!  So all systems go!

Wanna feel young again?!

We played with 3 amazing bands @ The Windmill in Brixton - one of which decided to drive us across london in the back of their van at the end of the night whilst force feeding us some sort of rum & coke concoction out of a plastic bottle. Fuck anti-ageing creams I say - if you wanna feel 16 again try on this shit!

This was found on a personal blog of a band we played with! was a good night :)

So there are a few things which we support but I reckon its fair to say that Mount Gay Rum is perhaps the best thing ever - check out what it does to people - Andy drunk lots then decided it might be a good idea to try and pee in a bottle whilst in the back of the moving fairly quickly driven van, and by pee in a bottle I mean about to hover over one of the other bands (the Brilliant Night Terrors from Australia)  Theremin gear and try to piss - shouted at he left and pissed up against the side of a bank - Great fun and a big fuck you to the banks
Good times for a comprehensive review of the night and my attempts to get to work check out the post “Don’t Mess with the Boys In Blue”
